These 5 representatives voted with us during regular session and are getting pressure from the MDC and the Conservation Federation along with an average 100-150 hunter emails asking them to vote no and do not override the Governors veto. We need to counter this with emails from us asking them to vote YES and Override the Governors veto. So Please email right now each Representative "INDIVIDUALLY" so it is more personal...DO NOT SEND IT AS A GROUP EMAIL TO THEM ALL AT ONCE!! After you send each email to each Representative PLEASE forward each one to me so we can have a count for verification in the end....Just COPY and PASTE this short paragraph to the email....

Thank you for showing support for my family and I with your YES vote on SB 506 and HB 1326 during regular session. Thank you for standing up in support for Missouri Agriculture. Unfortunately Governor Nixon didn't see the importance of families or Missouri Agriculture as a priority and vetoed both of these Bills... In less than 2 weeks legislation has one opportunity to right his wrong. It's not to late to fix what he has failed too. PLEASE, once again show support not for just my family but the hundreds of Missouri families that rely on Missouri Agriculture. PLEASE, VOTE YES on SB 506 and HB 1326 and override the Governors veto of these important Missouri Agriculture Bills.....Thank you

Travis, do you think we should address deer farming? The reason I ask is because a reporter I spoke with said we where greatly outnumbered. It turns out we were not outnumbered on the bill as a whole, just those against deer farms compared to those in favor. Thanks for the post, the fate of Missouri deer farms will be decided in the next few weeks. We won a battle, then lost a battle. Let's finish the war now.

Randy,

Got it in for you guys even though when I asked for help not many from Missouri were there for me when I asked for help.  Brad is right Let's finish this war in Missouri and all other places where the DNR and critics want to play the blame game with non science.

Guys,  Don't forget to cite the survey in the August issue of Outdoor Life.  [one of the big three]  More than 4,000 readers responded and only 17% of those responded saying, "Game farms should be banned".  62% said "Not for me, but they shouldn't be banned".  This was a huge loss for the anti's.  The anti's don't have the support they think.  Apparently readers respect personal and property rights more than conservation and fanatical outdoor writers do.  These legislatures need to know the anti's support is not there.

Remember, this survey was done AFTER Ryan Sabalow's articles came out!!!!!

Thanks for the support guys and keep it coming. Jack sorry the support wasnt there for you when you needed it. I think its one of those things that you dont realize could happen until its in your back door.

calibriThank you for the support with your yes vote on SB 506 and HB 1326 during the regular session. This industry should be regulated under the animal health divisions for two reasons.

calibriFirst is the animal health agency is the main disease health testing authority for all other livestock animals and most qualified for this job. This agency will protect both wild and domestic from disease.

calibriSecond and most important is how can an agency such as the Missouri Wildlife DNR who are totally against every concept of this deer and elk industry regulate them with their attitude of no privatization of wildlife. No other business that I know of has a regulating agency that wants to destroy the very business they regulate.

calibriPlease vote YES on SB 506 and HB 1326 and override the Governor’s veto on these important Missouri Agriculture bills… Thank you.
