The 2012 Midwest Select in Wilmington, OHIO
To all Deer Breeders and Hunting Ranches:
You, as leaders in your state associations, are invited to attend the upcoming Midwest Select Sale in Wilmington, Ohio on February 17th. There will be an unveiling of a PR campaign that will promote hunting ranches and the deer industry in general across this country. The 60 Minutes episode that recently aired on the exotic industry in Texas gave our industry an upward momentum and is a great starting place in promoting this great industry. The PR that our industry received from this episode could not have been purchased for any amount of money, but there is so much more that needs to be done. We have historically taken a defensive posture, but no more. We are going on the offensive against the animal rights activists that are determined to put our industry out of business. Every state and national organization needs to be a part of this endeavor. Please join all the industry leaders in Wilmington, Ohio February 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM to hear what our plan of attack will be. A PR firm from Washington D.C. will be on hand to unveil a national plan that will show the American people how our industry is saving and propagating wildlife through conservation. Hunting plays a major role in that conservation plan, but we have done a poor job promoting what we do. Let’s join forces to make a much needed change. We either stand together or we will hang separately.
Please share this information with all of your association board members so that we have a great turnout in Wilmington. If you or your board members cannot attend, please contact Charly Seale at 830-928-3158 to find out how your association can assist in this PR campaign.
Hope to see you there,
Charly and Laurie Seale
