WOW what a surprise when we got our NADEFA magazine and seen we had won the buck contest with first prize. Thank you,thank you to all who voted for us as it is a great honor.For all of you that are not members the picture below shows Bronco our bottle fed buck with his son.(the caption reads,dad just wait till I grow antlers). Just after sumitting the pic we sold DEER RANCH and retired but only for a few moments.We are starting Martin Lake Deer Farm this spring.With this economy and some one who has cash the decision was not hard to make after owning for 24 years.My book will be out next year on our years of raising whitetails.We kept notes from 1988 on the daily life of a deer farmer.
