Since the worst of anything that happens never happens between 8-5 mon-fri when the vet is readily available....
could someone explain the procedure, steps, location etc on how to needle a fawn with extreme bloat?
I realize this should not be first option however we lost one recently that we were battling possible clostridium with that anytime he ate or was tubed he would bloat. We did antacids/antigas, infant gas drops, did mineral oil to help when backed up stool, did baking soda in cool water and little by little worsened until looked like a watermelon in his belly, firm to touch. I have one more that bloats but still eats great so I want to figure out this bloat situation before we lose him too. thanks.
