Got this a$$ hole reliefer neighbor shooting target sets off fireworks near my deer pens, isn't there a 150yr livestock safety zone, plus there neighbors beside him, there is no ordinances in my township, does any one know the law and knows someone who takes care of a$$holes?

I have the same thing on 3 sides of me, fricken fireworks going off last night till 2 in the morning. The only good thing about it is that they all shoot em off out of sight of the deer, as long as the deer don't see the humans they just seem to enjoy the show, really doesn't seem to bother them at all thankfully. Kids running around in sight lighting em off would be a different story, deer would be bouncing off the wire for sure.

Recommend desensitize now! We started with a 22 about 100 yards away from pen, upgrading to 30-06, 300 and whatever my son has on the gunrack. I watched what the does do and after initial leap and trotting off to bedding corner they've gotten used to gun shots. Started same thing this week with fire crackers, just smaller stuff, but pretty noisy, since my nightmare was scheduled for last night, fire works at Knights of Columbus which is only about 500 yard away across a soybean field. Thank God, it poured and thundered, they rescheduled to next Friday. Some neighbors set some bigger stuff off last night and probably will tonight, so a little more practice. I'll be praying all week for rain or that the Lord will just shut their ears/eyes. Can't believe I spent cash on fire crackers but that was my only idea how to possibly prevent disaster. Hope things will be o.k. for you!!!

I know it sucks, but we can't blame people for doing things on their land. Location of our pens are up to us. Best of luck, none of us enjoy the risk when raising deer.

We've got woods all around us so we've shot coons and opossums around our deer more regularly than I'd like to have too. Pretty much make sure everyone is in the open and usually they just bounce a few steps and watch. We've shot vermin at night w some of our does not even standing up to see what we are doing. As long as the majority are calm it seems to settle down the ones that are new and not use to it. We also started by shooting a decent ways away with someone watching them and got more aggressive.
