i am wanting to get started and i am wanting to know how much should i spend on the facilitys and fences and anything else im going to be need. any info tips or warnings, thanks to any replys

James, The best thing for you to do is contact this place and ask for a membership directory and then start visiting farms in OK. Also attend the coming annual meeting taking place in TX this coming March.
Until you have done all of that DON'T buy a darn thing. Nothing at all. No deer, no fence, no land, no nothing. You have a lot to learn about all the various ways to go about becoming a deer grower. Then after educating yourself jump in and have fun!

Make plans to attend the 11th annual Whitetails of Oklahoma Annual Convention at the Wes Watkins Center in Stillwater, Ok. Doors open at 10:00 am Sat Feb 11. Lots of activities will be going on including a guest speaker and auction. Many of the Ok breeders will be there and it would be a great venue for you to get to know your fellow Oklahoma Deer Farmers.
