Hello,

I'm relatively new to farming and this is my first crop of fawns born on the farm this year, My question is this, What is the normal size for buck and doe fawns born to first time mothers? I have had three little buck fawns born to first time mothers that weigh 10 pounds each. Is this good or average? I have had twins that weighed in at 7 and 8 pounds and am just wondering if I am on the right trac with production. I am going to sell off all the doe fawns because I do not need/have room for all of them. What is the going price for something like them? Now, there is some good blood in them, but I am really not up on generation 3 and 4 preceeding. Let me know what you think I've got here. Am i on the right track?

Thank You,

Sounds like you are doing fine on the size of your fawns as they will vary from doe to doe and will also depend on the sire!!As far as the fawns you have for sale you could list them on this site or on the exchange.Either way you will have to give some names and show some pedigree's to get a handle on the value of the fawns!!
