I believe normal body temperature for a fawn is about 100-102 degrees. IS THAT CORRECT?
I have a 6 day old fawn that has been sick for a few days, She is doing fine now, but my problem is her twin is not acting normal to me. She seems a bit weak and somewhat lethargic. She just lays around and has no attempt at getting up and running when we approach. Her temperature is 102 degrees but she seems very warm. She did get up and walk around and nurse from mom, but wasn't very aggressive about it like normal fawns.
When the first fawn was sick I treated is with SULMET for the scours. I treated this fawn also as a preventative. Could I have done something wrong?
Am I just being paranoid or is there something I should look for or treat for?
