After reading various posts on this site, I feel compelled to comment and offer up a brand new idea and promotion.
Whitetail Exchange Open House Night
Across the Country!
My name is Richard Mews and I am the developer of the NEW Whitetail Quest and webmaster for Whitetail Exchange.
I have attended most of the auctions last year and this year. I do enjoy visiting with the farmers and hearing their comments or suggestions about the industry.
However, to attend all of them is very exhausting and hard on my valuable family time.
We have spent the last year developing internet marketing strategies designed to help ALL farmers (large or small) and to bring in new ones to the industry. Examples: thebuckchannel.com, whitetailquest.com and whitetailexchange.net.
It is amazing how new ideas in this industry are met. I spend 60-70 hours a week (salary mind you) to help promote not only our business, but to offer these inexpensive, time saving and effective tools to better the industry as a whole.
We have taken notice of the recent auction attendances over the past year. What does this tell us? Do deer farmers care anymore or is it what we all know and are told everyday. The economy has changed and people and businesses are being smarter to where their time and money is spent.
If you would ask me 10 years ago, that a deer farmer would be able to take a video and post it on a website for his peers to see, I would have thought that would be great but never would have believed it. Over 50,000 videos have been viewed by deer farmers all across the country on thebuckchannel alone – FOR FREE!
We have come up with a new concept which we are introducing on Whitetail Exchange today – OPEN HOUSE NIGHT with Whitetail Exchange.
The concept is simple: Invite your surrounding deer farming neighbors (new or existing) to share and experience your labors of hard work, and of course, attend an online auction viewed all over the country at the same time!
No travel time, no huge expense. Image one simple night of entertainment, sharing experiences and tricks of the trade, and most important, building relationships in the industry we love and hope to grow.
