I returned today from a tour of farms in the PA area with 2 of my friends from here in WI.

It was a great time, but the time went to fast.

It is hard not to get into a great discussion at each farm and that leads to time running away on ya fast. We ended up having to skip some farms that we wanted to see. There will be a next time for sure! We had to see certain farms because of having deer at those places, and that meant we had to make hard choices about who was being skipped.

Everyone we went to was awesome!!!

Places we were,

Amos Kauffman

Danial King

Harry Strawser

Vern Troyer

Willy Swarey

The Walk family farm

Mark Sipes

The Esh family at Blue Mountain Whitetails

It was a pleasure visiting with all these fine folks, and seeing the deer and their facilities. Amos you are GREAT! Danial you have a special yearling there for Harry and Curt. Great job. Harry, thanks for the awesome visit. Vern your place is absolutely incredible! One of the best I have ever seen. Willy, as always a pleasure to talk with you. And tell Leah thanks much for the homemade salsa and chips! Ryan, thanks for showing us around, and Russ thanks for the great dinning experience at that little roadside cafe:) The food really was very good! Mark's nephew showed us around his place and WOW! What a group of yearlings! Free Agent is everything you see in the photos and more. David and Jesse Esh were a great to talk with and thanks much for the turkey calls! They are awesome pieces of artwork.

I will be doing that trip again for sure, but with more time to hit more places.

Thanks everyone!
