I have two deer that were live bred and due on the same day, May 29. One doe had a fawn on June 1. The other looks pregnant but not as big as the other one, but has not dropped a milk sac and I'm beginning to wonder if she is even pregnant. How long past the due date could she still give birth or when should I stop looking for fawns? Thanks

The one may not have concieved when you saw her bred and maybe she got bred the 2 nd cycle which would make her due the latter part of June . That would be my guess if she doesn`t go here pretty soon.

If it is an adult doe, i would imagine you could have fawns anytime during the month of June. If the doe you are in question about was just a fawn last year and was bred, you may not get any fawns this year, or you coud get them anytime clear into October.

Not trying to change the subject but how long is the longest anyone has had a doe that dropped her milk sac before delivering? My last one to fawn dropped her milk sac about 10 days ago and still hasnt fawned

I had a doe drop her sack one day before, and had one this year with a sac 15 days before fawning. There all different, you will be fine! Good Luck!!!
