PA Fall Sale

$300 flat fee is a nice idea.

I think that if someone was selling lets say a 300" ranch buck, an expensive breeder buck or doe, or even one of the packages that we have seen sell for 300,400 or 500k. It sure would be nice to only have to pay $300 instead of 30, 40 or 50 thousand in commission! Kudos to the Midwest boys and the PADFA auction comm. for dreaming that one up!

We have tried to set up a program that allows almost everyone to participate and be successful, Participation is the key for any auction or fundraiser to be successful.  We are trying to build this Pa sale back to one of the elite events in the country as it used to be, trying new ideas helps set this sale apart from the rest.  Another great idea the auction committee has come up with for this year is a special elite semen portion of the sale.  There will be semen from some of the hottest breeders in the industry available in the sale.  So if you have not already get your consignments in for your stockers, breeder animals or semen and reserve your ad and booth space and make your hotel reservations. 


 


As a member and board member of the Missouri Assoc. I know first hand how important a strong Assoc. is, remember a fight like we are battling through in Missouri could show up on anyone's front door tomorrow!

Looks good Matt. I hope to see everybody there.

Only about a week away guys, look forward to seeing everybody at the sale.  I know everyone is busy but if you make the effort to be at the sale and make sure your neighbor comes then we will have a great turnout and sale.  Get a hold of Kelly Pittenger  570-447-1333 to get your booths reserved or there may still be time to get one of the electronic bill board ads reserved( these are really cool, for those who haven't seen them just imagine your buck up on a huge jumbo tron in a stadium or basketball arena) they may be able to do short video as well.  Also there is going to be a charter bus coming from the Lancaster area if you are needing a ride to and from the sale, contact Daniel King 610-273-2809  for more information about that.  Remember personally meeting someone is always the best way to make new contacts for breeding stock or outlets for stocker animals, in this social media world we tend to forget this at times.   We will continue to accept stockers  up to sale day and will be able to put new pics of your bucks on the screen.  We want and need everyone to be successful in this industry and Participation from everyone is where it all begins

Matt, how is the stocker sale looking so far? Is there a decent amount of consignments? I am considering adding a consignment, I hope it gets a decent turnout cause I really like the flat fee idea.

We have 50 or so bucks consigned so far, from 140's to 400". A lot more guys are bringing pics and scores on sale day. Would love to have you be part of the sale.
