Pneu Dart - Model 389 Rifle

I have one and love it, I ordered the nickel barrel and it took forever to get it and I mean forever. I wish I had a smaller air gun and I plan on getting one in the near future because in a lot of cases I can get pretty close to my deer. Oh and believe me it does not take them long to figure out what your holding in your hand when you walk to the pen with this long thing under your arm.But the 3890 is a great gun

We have had 1 for 3 seasons now, great gun, no problems,very accurate and

easy to load. How ever I would spend the extra for the nickle barrel as the blueing is not top quality, and if used when raining it will rust quickly. Be aware read the thread on frustrations with Pneu-Dart

I want to get one in the next few weeks. I have a question for those who already got one, since it is cartridge fired, how does the shipping thing work? Do I have to find a gun dealer that will accept it, then call pnedart and tell them where to ship it. I haven't called around yet but I am not sure how many gun dealers are willing to do that, I am sure most wouldn't have a problem with it if I pay them extra for their time. I already have a 176 but its just a co2 and they shipped it directly to me, but I just seen the notice that said cartridge fired have to be shipped to a firearms dealer.

You will have to have shipped to someone that has a FFL and then you will have to have a background check done just like if you were buying a regular rifle. Check with your local gun shops most guys are more than willing to help you out especially when you tell them it is a tranquilizer gun it sparks there curiosity.

They must be sent to a gun store and they do charge a fee, was a long process till I got mine.
