Genetically speaking, it depends on whether the buck carries DD or Dd /and whether the doe has Dd or dd or DD.
If the doe has DD then the answer is no recessive coloration. If the Buck carries DD then no as well.
If they both have Dd, you have a 25% chance of recessive.
If you have a Buck at Dd and the Doe is dd then you have a 50% chance.
Unless Deer don't follow Mendel's rule. Anyone care to elaborate?
