Predator3 said:David I still can't help it. Everytime I see a new product, I have to check into it. Its not very often when you see a deer product with 16% fat. I think it could be useful in a grain mix.
please keep posted as wellcircle j ranch said:i have dealt with record rack for years and have a great relationship with them. ( used to sell quite a bit of product for them) so i pulled some of my connections and as of the conversation today i should have a price in my hand by the end of the week. If there is still interest from you all on here and those who have contacted me personally asking me to see what i can do. I will get the product in here and get bags to you all.
At this time it looks pretty solid that i can get my hands on this product for you all. We will keep you posted if anything changes and get you a price as soon as it comes across my desk.

I am looking at the rr400 as a part of my feed based on whats in it. There are hundreds of products we can choose from and in most cases you get what you pay for. Our textured buck mix is expensive but worth it. If your looking for a quality fat products there are the adm moorglo, healthyglo, primeglo, powerglo and cold milled flax seed. Depending on your needs. Sorry guys i'm not a big fan of their regular deer pellet. The other advantage of these are the ingredients mixed in with them. The only issue i have with the glo products is the cost. I personally believe record rack is on the right track by increasing their fat levels in these pellets. The hang up is the higher the fat level the harder it is for them to keep the pellet bonded together. Not so good when used in exposed feeding situations. But in our controlled environment they are perfect.
