After a night of heavy rains and intense lighting I felt like a motorcycle ride was in order. So today I called my friends Ron and Mary to see if they would be home. I then took a ride up this afternoon to see the bucks and visit for a while.

What can ya say about the boys they have there.

Simply amazing.

Tonto is of course huge.

Dakota is incredible.

They all look great, but Lakota is the big boy. Wow!

If you haven't been there, you really should make the trip. Great deer and great people equal a great farm visit.

Thanks much Ron and Mary!

I don't want to speak for Ron and Mary, but when Matrix came walking up to the front along with the rest I was asking who is that, who is that for each one. When Ron said that one there is Matrix he said that Matrix was sick again this year. He also has a lot of bone, but is a little bit narrower this year. Don't get me wrong, he is big, just a little narrower is all. I hear a lot of guys around the area saying their bucks are more narrow this year. Cold spring maybe? Who knows. But yes Matrix was sick and still grew a nice big rack. Ron drove me around and showed me the young boys. Some really nice ones in there also and I believe Ron said the one pen was all Matrix sons. I saw long tines and good frames was nice mass in the group.

Go to their website and you can view live video of thier buck pens. It s COOL.

That camera is awesome. Good to hear that the Matrix yearlings are looking good, as we have 2 buck fawns and 2 doe fawns that were bred by Matrix last year.
