Sorry I cant help with you on the legalities up there,but usually if there is a will there is a way.
I have an interest in breeding pure types of deer not just the generic types such as red deer,or rusa. As such youv'e raised my curiosity because you particularly want to raise C e roosevelti & not just "big" wapiti (I tend to think of true "elk" as European animals).Have you a reason for roosevelti, heavier beams, narrower style,slightly different ecological needs or you just plain like them?
