At this time you can not use frozen semen to be sexed.

I don't get on here much as I think things can be misinterpreted via email and texts and posting through the internet. It is also much easier explaining the process over the phone or in person. But Josh and Michael are both correct. At this time a fresh sample is required to begin the sorting process and semen that you have in your tank that has been put up conventionally cannot be sexed with accuracy. It is called a reverse-sort. This process, along with others, is being researched so that the deer industry is provided with a consistent quality product and options that meet their needs.
