had a two month old doe fawn come to the bottle Monday am with her rt front leg raised, no injury visible. Also acting a little disoriented. Ate bottle fine. I gave her 8mg Dex, thinking hit the fence.
Tues am she has lame back left leg, hock joint swollen, refuses bottle, looks a little bloated. 8mg Dex SQ given. She takes half a bottle later, refuses evening bottle.
Wed am laying flat , refuses bottle, still looks slightly bloated. 8mg Dex and 2cc C&D antitoxin given, also baby gas drops. Takes some milk, maybe 1/4 normal.
Thurs, worse, refuses bottle, acts like stomach cramping. 2cc C&D antitoxin, 8mg Dex
Does not look like any EHD I've seen. I cannot correlate the stomach issues with the leg issues. Any ideas?????
