Has anyone ever used Poast or Poast plus to kill grass in their clover plots in the pens?  I would like to spray in my buck pens but not sure if the chemicals are safe to use while the bucks are still in the pens or if there is a better chemical to use

We have used Poast. We have let bucks back in the pasture after it rains on the treated pasture. If it is hot the grass will wilt after the rain. Poast will slow the clover down a little temporarily.

Most Agchemical suppliers will make custom herbicide mixes. The formula in Slay and Arrest herbicides can easily be duplicated in bulk quantity.

Poast will only remove grasses. Slay will kill broadleaf weeds in clover. Poast doesn't kill any broadleaf. I do believe Poast works better than arrest on grasses. I haven't used Poast Plus. We add crop oil when spraying with Poast.

Clethodim for grass and 2,4,db for broadleafs. You can get it from Keystone pest at the best price I've found.

I'm new to deer farming so I have to ask, why kill grass, isn't that what they eat, or do they thrive on clover feed?
