Im getting more excited every day. Our last buck has shed his antlers yesterday the weather man is saying 50 to 60 degrees next week. The time change is this weekend. It won't be long those cute little spotted babies will be running around and we will be watching our bucks pushing out new bone. Just had to share my excitement with everyone.

It was -30 here yesterday morning and there is almost 40" of ice on the lakes but spring is near?

Ahh, it is finally getting close. My first year with AI'ed does. I have two of them, I took them over to a friend of mine and he supplied everthing and AI'ed them. they are due May 9. It's to early to tell for sure, but they do have some big bellies so there is a chance one or both took.

Weather wise Spring dosen't seem close yet with all the snow and super low temps we are still getting, but the increasing daylight is nice. I will never take being able to open my gates easily for granted again. I don't mind winter, it has its ups and downs, but I admit, I am soo tired of chipping snow and ice away from my gates! It seems it snows, or sleets here every other day and it never gets warm enough to melt anything. Just keeps building up. I swear we must still have a trace of the first snowfall of the year somewhere in the massive snowbanks along the lane, lol. I think once the warmer temps finally come, things will really begin that transition to spring rather quickly, but it was 5 degrees last night so it seems winter isn't going out without a fight. Good luck to all with your fawning season. Only a little over 2 months to go!

Nothing popular. Just a couple 100 dollar straws that I like. Timex, and Twister. Conventional.

I had a full straw of each put into two of my Runnin wild daughters.

I already have plans for next year. A full straw of travis's buck unleashed goes into a runnin wild doe, and a full straw of Miken ( Runnin wilds half brother) into a maxbo extreme doe that I got from Heath Walk a few years ago.

Here is timex. A Rolex son

My spring indicator is robins and we saw the first one today.  This means to me I made it through another Montana winter and babies will be here soon.  Let the bottle feeding begin.  LOL
