HI everyone - first post... love the forum. I've owned a deer ranch for a few years now in Southeast Louisiana. Don't have that many deer (20). lost over half of our fawns to EHD last yr. i was wondering if anyone else has tried planting Sudan grass to help with EHD... it makes sense... ck this out:

but then someone on another forum wrote (and this kind of makes sense if its true)
(51,51,51);verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', ;background-(197,187,170)Gnats are daytime, not nocturnal. I have read that gnats/midges are the vector for EHD, never read that mosquitoes are, not saying it can't happen.

what do you all think? anything else other than a misting systems that you feel works for gnats? praying they come up with a bullet proof vaccine this yr...
thx!
