Looks like everyone is testing, collecting and scoring all the big boys right now!

Billy Sage at S&S Whitetail Galore just called me tonight and gave me the numbers on Sundowner 375 4/8",

28 2/8" Inside, 50 1/2" outside, 35 1/2" Mainbeams with

14 1/2" G-2's. WOW!

Those may be the longest mainbeams I have heard of.

Check out the pics. What a frame with a score to match.

Ok I have to ask. What is the record for longest beams and widest outside spread? That is unreal!

I have only heard of on whitetail ever getting over 33" beams and that was a buck killed in the wild last year. He had 35+" main beams. In my opinion, the main beam length is an absolute crucial measurement in this industry. If a buck doesn't have beam length, I don't breed with it. Need room for a 7x7 or 8x8 frame without all the busyness of tines on top of each other. Anxious to see how Sundowner's sons do next summer.

No, he is not a Sundowner son. He is a son of Milo. Milo is out of 5Brow.

Anyway, he was scored and cut off this past weekend, age 2 he is already 39" wide out to out, total score is 239".
