I have not gotten my sale book yet, but I understand the sale books are in the mail. Here is a link that takes you directly to the Index page for the Top 30 sale booklet.

I would like to ask everyone to please take note of an error in the sale booklet. Pages 176 and 177 was to be a 2 page ad layout for our lots. The first page was used on both pages and the 2nd page was not used at all. To view a similar page of my lots for the sale please go to our For Sale page at our website.

Note: there is an error on this page also. The score for Max Thrust should read 260" @ 3.

Question, How can we confirm if we are on the mailing list to recieve this sale book. Today is Sat and I still did'nt get mine yet. I have gotten the PA sale, the All American but I don't seem to get all of them??? Thanks for any info...

Keep in mind that there are several auctions companies in the country.

Not meaning to leave anyone out, but here are some you might want to contact and be sure that you are on their mailing lists.

IT is my thought that Mr. Sage is saying that splitting straws of semen 8+ times, embryo transfers, cloning whats next... He believes his does deserve better and I AGREE !!! We bought some does last year that were sold being AI'd. Our lack of knowledge left us not knowing that these does had been ai'd with straws being split 8 ways. How did that turn out???? We had all back up fawns. Paid a good price and a fraction of the value that we expected in return. I believe that it should be a standing rule that it is stated how many times a straw was split on any does being sold at auction. Kevin ,Jerry, Eric, John and the Chupp boys, how about making this a part of your sales from now on starting with the Top 30. It will be a factor for us as we look a buying any does in the future. Split them 8 ways, we WILL walk away...... Good luck to everyone in the upcoming sells. They sure look strong.
 
The only bred does we sell that are AI'd, are AI'd to our own deer - so the same buck is the back up buck. That way there is no question about what people are going to get. We have never done more than split a straw either. We prefer to sell our genetics crossed with some of the top deer. I always get kind of a kick out of the sale books where one or two buck's pictures appear over and over. To be honest, there are a couple of them that I'm not sure who owns them since everyone seems to have them.
 
Micheal, you hit the nail on the head. Wild Rivers, I know exactly what your sayin too! I used one of the bucks that you might be refering to, I put a 1/2 straw in her (lap) and backed her up to Picket. Thinking I would have a very strong doe for sale this winter. Then as the catalogs start coming out, this buck is in 20 lots or more per sale. I understand and support folks using a great buck, but are they so greedy that they HAVE to breed 5-10 doe per straw. I've never really liked doing business with someone who is either that greedy or that desperate!!!
 
Have not received mine. Mid MO. Possibly I've been put on the "does not spend money at my auction" list. Who knows?
 
James, how long do you give the "industry" to single those guys out that are splitting straws that many times? We have been burned by a few that have an X by their names.

Antler Valley, Not trying to insult you but be sure you are signed up with each auction company. I know some guys get on the mailing list for a couple of them but then don't realize they are not on all the lists to get all the auction books. The Top 30 is one of the auctions run by Whitetail Sales & Service. You can call Rose at, 573-392-8230 to be sure you are on their mailing list. Hope that helps.
 
I think they have on of those lists, I phoned them for three consectutive years and did not get a catalogue, I will try again, if they had semen available for export in the catalogue.....
