It is a little boring this time of year (waiting for the spring fawns and antlers) So I thought it would be fun to post some pedigrees of some of the up and comers that you are proud of on your farm and see what everyone thinks of the youngsters.

attached is a pedigree of a 2010 buck fawn we are proud of and in my opinoin is one of the best bred bucks you could find (on paper anyway) but he still has to put it on his head.

He is Shadow AX look for him as a yearling this summer. Let me know what you all think of him.

He has all three Boomer does in his pedigree (Super doe, Y27 twice, and Y26)

Lets see what you all have.

Thanks Kurt,

What do you have that you just cant wait to see grow out this year. I know you have to have one or two. I even bet they have a little blood from Barkly and Cole's?

We have a couple that we are pretty excited about. We been working alot with barkley and cole's width in our herd. We were fortunate enough to buy wildman, he has some huge sons out there and hasn't been bred with much at all. I havn't found one yet that wasn't over 200 inches at two and a few over 300 with most having 24 inch spreads and wider.

Randy,

That is an awesome pedigree and you can't help but wonder how big he is going to get. Congrats you will have to keep us posted.

At the just pasted Whitetail Extravaganza we sold choice of these 2 bucks fawns. The only buck fawns we have from 2010.

The high bidder could choose which one they wanted and they could choose to take 100% of it or share 50%-50% ownership with us.

I am happy to say that George Cagle took a 50%-50% option on the Poncho/Bubbles buck fawn so we get to keep half of him.

We are working on naming this one. Any suggestions?

The Shadow/Grace buck fawn is still ours 100%

It will be fun to see how these two coming yearlings do on the farm this year.

Randy we have a doe that would match up to that buck fawn pretty good.

Whitetail Exchange No Reserve Wednesday

Thank you Sam and Dan

Here is a great opportunity to get a HUGE jump up in some great genetics!

What can you say about Cardiac Kid! He is Simply Awesome!

When you see them in person, some deer are dissapointing, others impress you more, Cardiac Kid REALLY impressed me!

Buyer will get 1st choice of a bottle started Cardiac Kid doe fawn from the following 2 Sudden Impact does:

B113 is a Sudden Impact Doe with Bucky Jr./44 Mag's womb Sister on the bottom!

B114 is a Sudden Impact Doe with Timerjack/PA Geronimo (Sneakers Mother) on the bottom WOWSER!

These 2 does are only yearlings! Think of the pedigree this doe fawn will have?

Does are located in OH. They can go anywhere! CWD date is 2002, TB Accred Bruc Certified.

Randy, that fawn couldn't get any more stacked. I can't wait to see what he does! And Roger, those fawns are incredible! I get excited just seeing what you guys are doing and trying to imagine what lies ahead. Paul and Mark, that fawn looks familiar!

Here are 4 of my top picks for our buck fawns for 2011. We tried to name 2 of these. Which one will be the best? :):)

Scott, you guys really need to fix that pedigree for Cardiac Kid. That Rambo is not Walk's Rambo as listed on Quest.

Roger, B97 and B99 are both late fawns, B97 was born in July and B99 was born in August. They have caught up quite a bit but it may put them behind some. I guess on the other hand they are a year ahead! :)

Scott, I hope you understand why I couldn't talk about it on the phone with you. Laurie would have killed me when that phone bill came:eek:
