Anybody else experience what I did this morning. Went to feed the bucks and found one of my 2 yr olds completely rubbed. He came from behind the feeder and was fire engine red. What a surprise!!

I have a yearling that has all of his points starting to poke through, so it probably aint far off for him. Other deer look to still be growing.

We have several bucks, Already sporting thier winter coat. I had a guy tell me he had a bull elk completely shed out and hard horn..............July 28th

The forecast for this winter indicates a colder than normal winter, with slightly more precipitation. I am not sure about the farmers almanac. I believe it is based on the surface water temperatures of the pacific, this year is an El Ninio year, last year was La Ninia.

I like La Ninia much better as far as winter is concerned.....but old La Ninia stinks for summer.......bring on El Ninio next summer....LOL!
