Hey I was wondering if any one knows or has some Wesson does that are producing? We had a Wesson doe that we lost but we have two daughters out of her they're Hydro Ax/Wesson. All I know is Wesson is Rolex/Banshee and Jarrod Washburn owned him and he died of antler infection? Just wondering if he passed down his huge frame.

GREAT question Ryan,I love Wessons look and his pedigree!

I have a Texas Tea/Rolex/BW Sunny doe I'm going to A/I to Banshee this fall

Its like he fell off the face of the earth

Welcome to the deer market...Very rarely will you see animals marketed more than a year or two at best. Its all about the flavor of the month. Look at the overall prices for Flees genetics as recently as the Chupp sale and just now at the Midwest Select. I often wonder if anyone has any breeding discipline anymore or if it really just comes down to money. Check with Lester Beachy on the Wesson offspring. He has had some really good ones!

Well said Josh, Folks are about chasing the next "BIG" thing. It's possibly one of the biggest mistakes farms make..............No focus on were their headed!

Josh... Money is a very big part of this business ! You should know that. Charlie

Charlie, Money is a VERY big factor but........................You will make more money long term with a proven herd than a short fix of "what's hot now" and wish you hadn't added it into your long term plan....................Something most don't have!

It will actually save you money. Everyone should collect Auction catalogs and take a trip thru time looking at all the "Hype" of the next "Super Sire" splashed across the pages........................Then look at deer lines that show up as "Proven Production" bucks and does on not just one farm but on page after page and farm after farm and year after year!

It's a pretty amazing read! :)

Best of luck
