The picture is of one of the wild deer taken this year off the farm. That looks like the main genetics we have in the area. I have not seen any bigger deer then that in the last 15 years around here.
We have had 2 of our tame deer die in the last month. No signs of injury and vet was shaking his head also. one was about 9 months old doe and the other was a 2 year old doe. they where keep in separate pens of about 2 acres each. the 2 yr old was in with one buck sawed off horns and 10 other does. the 9 month old was in a pin with 6 doe about the same age. The rest of the deer look nice and healthy and come up every day to get hand feed.
