Whiskey Ridge Whitetails is excited and proud to introduce our 2 new breeder bucks, WRW Sun Canyon and WRW Silver Ranger. Both of them are 2 years old and were purchased directly from Blosser Whitetails in Buffalo Missouri. We would like to thank Nathan and his family for not only growing these outstanding and impressive bucks, but also for giving us the opportunity to purchase them. The Blosser family runs a 1st class operation and continually grows industry leading and highly sought after bucks and does every year, and we feel these 2 bucks will be no different.

WRW Sun Canyon is a 2 year old BW Grand Canyon son that scores 338" with a 21" inside spread and a 36" outside spread. WRW Sun Canyon is out of a BW Sundowner daughter and his grandmother is a BW King David daughter. BW King David is out of a BW Goliath/Mary cross. You will find this BW Goliath/Mary cross in many of the Blosser's great buck's pedigrees. WRW Sun Canyon is by far the largest BW Grand Canyon son to date, and at only 2 years old will surely grow bigger and more impressive for years to come. WRW Sun Canyon is definitely in the top 10 highest scoring 2 year olds with a frame to go with it. He is larger than either BW Grand Canyon or BW Sundowner when they were 2 years old and is wider than BW Sundowner was at 2 both inside and outside. He has a great frame with just enough extras to give him an outstanding look from any angle.

WRW Silver Ranger is a 2 year old Maxbo Ranger son that scores 256" with a 22" inside spread. WRW Silver Ranger is out of a Siver Star daughter, Silver Star is the brother to Silver King. His grandmother is PA Geronimo daughter, this PA Geronimo daughter has Thunderstorm's sister on her bottom side. To our knowledge WRW Silver Ranger is one of if not the largest Maxbo Ranger 2 year old to date, and at only 2 years old has a great future ahead of him.

I am attaching a few pictures and pedigree sheets of both these bucks. If anyone is interested in purchasing a straw or 2 of either one of these outstanding 2 year olds you can contact either Paul Gragg at 314-568-1132 or myself for more information. We will be limiting the number of straws sold this years.

We would again like to thank Nathan and his family for this opportunity and look forward to many great years of production out of both of these great bucks.

Thanks Wayne, we are really excited to see not only what they grow next year, but also what they produce in the next few years. They both have a lot of proven production in them and we have all our best does being bred to them and can't wait to see what we get. It should be fun for sure!!

I just updated the website, nothing fancy, but I think it gets the point across. You can view more photos of our two new breeders, their pedigrees, and get an idea of the girls we will be breeding them to from the doe genetics sheet pages. Should be an interesting couple of years coming up. Can't wait to see what these boys and girls produce for us, as well as how they and their sons grow.

Here is our new ad that will be going into the Top 30 Catalog this year. I think Kristy at Whitetail Marketing did a great job on it. What do you guys think?

Thanks Kristy.

Thanks Eric. Should be an intersting couple of years coming up.

Congrats Mark on 2 great bucks. Looks like Grand Canyon is passing down some dominant genes! You can tell Sun Canyon is a direct son for sure!

I don't get too excited about buck fawns, but we have an enormous buck fawn out Texas Tea and my Grand Canyon/Sundowner/Sunriser's womb sister doe that I bought from John Ervin last year.

Congrats again on a couple of awesome bucks!

Thanks Mike

The Grand Canyon/Sundowner cross seems to be working. Nathan has some good ones out of that cross as well. I know what you mean about being excited, we're breeding a Grand Canyon/Sundowner/Nick(Goliath/Mary cross) doe back to Sun Canyon this year, so we are just trading King David(Goliath/Mary cross) with Nick(Goliath Mary cross). Basically we're just doubling everything up. Can't wait to see what that produces!!

Thanks Again
