Maxbo Ranger seems to be getting it done and I also like Gold Bucky Boy but, I think it has more to do with the doe. I think you need to take a doe out of a wide buck then cross it back to another wide buck and so on and so on. Some doe will produce wide no matter what you put in them and others will produce narrow no matter what you put in to them. Keep adding wide to your doe herd and you will get wide. This is what I take from my experiance.
I think to get width you will have to do like Virgil said, breed wide to wide and repeat the process over and over. I would guess the best doe line to start with would be a doe's who come's from a farm with mostly wide deer. Dont know that there would be any one line that will be a 100% sure thing for you. If you are going for wide deer dont forget the frame, also look for long beam's and tine length to go with the spread.

Glenn Dices Romeo seems to really be showing great width pass down and Mike is right Barkley is putting wide on wide year in and out also!
Hands down the best Width buck in my opinion is Romeo as of right now. Doe O2 -Danger and Ranger mom is strong width doe. Over looked would be the Old Gunner Doe off Waldvogels that threw Jett & GMax an I think another wide son
