Welllllll ....... on some farms he would be well over 300" on my farm I hand you the rack and a tape measure. I honestly have never scored him BUT I do know one guy who took the time to do it last winter after he shed. That guy came up with 262" "very conservatively" (his words). He looked every bit of that.
I've seen Moses in person and I'm shocked that he only scores 262" he looks a lot bigger than that in person. He is a buck that looks good from any angle and a pedigree to back it. Bucky on a Highroller/Governor doe. Those three sires probably have a 30" average. I wish I had him.
Bucky has been an incredible producer for us. As of last year we had 4 300" B&C scored sons of Bucky. We have bred with 3 of his 4 300" sons. The highest scoring was Rocky at 404 at age 5. W0116 was 369@5. Primetime was 308@3 and is looking better than ever this year at age 4.
In addition to these bucks Bucky has produced a good number of 200+" 2 year olds and 250+" 3 year olds.
Not to make fun G Flees, but I would love to be able to say that I just turned out a deer such as W0079 in the preserve. Someday I hope to have breeders as big as some you guys have turned out. I guess you did something right. Congrats on an AWESOME herd. I love your 2009 genetics video on youtube, crazy, crazy, big
