What wormer are ya all using to worm this spring and what is your worming schedule?

Drew, We rotate with Ivormec +,Valbasen,Safegaurd and will be tryinga new product
for us from Purina called Exotic Wormer Pellets. We worm about every 30 to 60 days and always during a full moon and also do perodic fecal samples. Just what works for us seems every area is a little different. Good Luck!

I'm looking for the wormer that is alcohol based and you spray on feed for the deer to injest? I think it it Ivermectin but I don't know if it is the injectable or the pour on? I've also heard there is a generic brand that is much cheaper. Can anyone help? Thanks
Drew went to a seminar last night on parasites conducted by dr. bliss out of wisconsin was good to worm in nov. and dec. and with a good freeze will help keep the animals under control till spring grazing using IVAMECTIN. In middle mar.to june reworm with safegard at rate of 1 lb. per 750 lb of animals worm for 5 days and again in 3 wks,(safeguard or panacur ) valbasen i used in a pregant doe about 6wks ago and because of direa so bad and she aborted here fawn i wont use during fawn season again .
I use ivomec pour on and valbazen pour on the feed. Not wanting to use valbazen on pregnant doe this spring I tried safe guard pellets for cattle mixed in with my feed. My bucks ate every bit. my does ate some but seemed to pick around it. After the fourth day of it still being in the pan I threw the remainder out. They ate most but I was unsure on wether or not each one got enough. A month later I pulled their water in the morning and that evening I put water back out with ivomec plus put in it. I figured that they wouldnt drink it very well. But every one went right to the bucket and drank up.

Ben, Just worked ALL my bred does yesterday with 6cc Ivormectin Plus injectable. We have been doing this on my farm for the past 5 years with no problems.
This is what works for us............... also worked all my fawns with 3 cc
