WV Deer Farmers need fundraiser donations !!

The West Virginia Deer Farmers Association is holding its annual fundraiser event on Saturday March 27 2010 in Morgantown WV. We are having an elimination dinner style event. Tickets are $50 each and includes a dinner for two and free draft beer. Legal beverages will be offered for $1 each. The Grand Prize is $1000 cash. Second prize is a cow buffalo hunt at Dream Mountain preserve. Third prize is a hog hunt at one of the preserves here in WV. Winners do not need to be present to claim their prizes.



We will be offering 4 guns for giveaway, as well as 50/50 tickets, tip boards and a silent auction.



We are asking all deer farmers to buy a ticket and/or make a semen donation to help our association. Here in WV we have been fighting legislation to keep deer farming alive as much as trying to make deer farming a better business. Lobbyists and attorneys have become very expensive. We need all the support we can get.



We will be accepting donations. Including semen, live animals, hunts and any deer farming supplies. All these donation will be offered in auctions posted on Whitetail Exchange for two weeks prior to the event. The auctions will start and end on Whitetail Exchange. This gives everyone the same opportunity to win each item posted. This will also give our association, as well as the donor, as much exposure as possible.

Wisdom, Thank you for the donation. Here in WV we can NOT legally import into WV from other states. However, the fundraiser auction is going to be set up on Whitetail Exchange and open for ALL DEER FARMERS to bid on. Meaning deer farmers from all across the US and Canada will be able to bid on your auction as well as the other donations we receive. We would be glad to accept your fawn donation if the offer still stands.



Any auctions that we receive, we also request pedigree information and pictures. This does make it easier for buyers to see the product. This information can be posted on this forum or private messaged.

I wanted to thank everyone for the great donations we have received so far. We have received some great straws of semen and a couple top quality fawns donated for the auction. We could use more donations from additional deer farmers and suppliers. The auction will be held on Whitetail Exchange starting March 13 and ending on Whitetail Exchange on March 27. All auction items will run completely online, giving ALL deer farmers a chance to win until the very end.
