bugs

I have a one year old that has a lot of small black bugs in one ear. When you put your finger down in the ear you get bugs and a small amount of blood. Any idea what this is or how to treat her?

Since the weather is warming up - we have noticed that some of our deer have little black bugs in their ears that are biting on the inside of their ears. Not sure what they are if they are black flys or what? Anybody else seeing this? What can we do to help with this?? :cool:
