    CIDR missing, should I AI

I have a question. I had a doe pull her cidr out, I did cut the ball off before insertion. Today found the cidr gone when we were removing them all, I give her a shot of folligon anyway. Should I AI her still?

    CIDR Removal

Hey guys quick question. We are pulling CIDR's Sunday morning and I wanted to know how common it is for that CIDR to travel further into the doe than when it was inserted? If at the time of removal and the tail is not present what protocols do you follow to remove it?

How long past 14 days are cidr's good for?

How long do you leave your CIDR's in for

I know that the industry standard is 14 days, is there any scientific reasoning behind this or just a rule of thumb? What happens if you only leave them in for 12 or 13 day? Any difference. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
