copper

I have a question about copper in feed. Is it safe and if so what percent of copper. I buy a special blend a complete grain mix for deer that has copper sulfate, and copper amino acid complex, it's not giving the percent of copper. I hear you shouldn't give products that contain copper to goats...

I am fairly new to raising deer and need to know if i can add all stock big 6 mineral to the feed I was just going to add it on top everyday like a 1/2 cup or so it contains copper min at 260 ppm and copper max at 380 ppm i have been feeding it to wild deer and have not seen any bad effects but...
