Well my sheep season is off to a good start.  First ewe had triplets at 143 days and the second had quads at 147 days.  Early births like this means my lambs are born at 1 to 2 pounds.  This is caused because rocky mountain bighorns gestation is 180 days and domestic hair sheep are 150 days.  So...

When is it getting to late to drop bred does in drop chute for Vaccinations or for any type of handling?

Just curious as to who dropped and who didn't. All of my buck, including the cut ones and the button bucks, still have their antlers.

Does anybody else have bucks dropping antlers already? We have 2 bucks that have dropped there cutoffs already. Does this mean they are stressed or is there a problem that they have already dropped? Seems pretty early to us. We are in central IL so is anybody else noticing this at there farms...
