mastitis

Our 2 year old doe just gave birth to her twins the 14th. Today she has a swollen, red area of her udder that looks like mastitis. There are not vets here that know about deer. I need help deciding what to do. She is one of the family and REALLY don't want to lose her! Can anyone help?

We had to run our doe through the shute last week and now this week her bag is getting huge. Her faws should of been weaned one to two weeks ago. I am wondering if it is mastitis and if so how should i treat it? any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks for any help![/IMG]
