How many deer does everyone else put in pens and how big are pens...our pens are 350'x125' Each and have around 10-12 deer in each but by end of summer get extremely muddy. We are planning on building more pens but would like to see what you guys did for this problem...

Got this a$$ hole reliefer neighbor shooting target sets off fireworks near my deer pens,isn't there a 150yr livestock safety zone,plus there neighbors beside him,there is no ordinances in my township,does any one know the law and knows someone who takes care of a$$holes?

In what ways do you clean the feces from your pens? I would like to get my pens cleaned up before fawning season comes and was wondering if there is a yard vacuum that works well or some other method that others use that works good.

With the high cost has anyone ever experimented with portable pens similar to chicken tractors or the sort. I am in South Dakota and taking to our Animal Industry Board which regulates that specific market the deer just need to be separated permanently from wild populations.

What is best to lime the deer pens with. It seems like I read a few years ago to not use ag lime but a different lime.  Cant find it or reminder what it was. Thanks for the help.

I'm in the process of clearing lanes for fence, but i was wondering because my land is all woods is that going to be a problem as far as the deer or will i just have to supplement more feed? Any info is greatly appreciated, Thanks

I am curious as to what everyone thinks is best to get the best production from your bucks. Lush pens full of clovers and chickory, or pens that have grown up with grass for cover but maybe not the most sought after browse, or basically a dry dirt or rock pen where they only eat what you give...
