rub

When I arrived at the farm today I noticed that one of my 2 year olds has started to rub his antlers and by tomorrow should be clean. Is anyone else seeing the same thing? Sorry about the quality of the pic,it was overcast and I was using my i-phone. 16511:IMG_7859.

We are starting to fence in pasture at our new farm and there are no trees to rub out on in the new pens. I know I am not the first to do so and I am wondering what other farmers use in situations like this for their bucks. I will be building walls for wind breaks and shade. I am just trying...

Someone was telling me to drive T-post in the ground for them to rub on. Good idea but you would want to keep a close watch on the post so they don't bend them over and you end up with a spear. Anybody else got any ideas?

My buck is starting to rub the front tips of his velvet today 8/30 . Is this ok at this time ? This is my first year with him rubbing velvet . Just wondering when they usually start doing this i thought sometime in sept. . Thanks to all that reply
