shelters

I'm thinking of adding 55 gallon barrels in my pens for fawns to shelter in. I'm in upstate NY and my pens are mostly wooded with shade. Does anyone have a opinion if barrel color makes a difference? I can use white or blue. Thanks Bill

With fawning season almost here. I thought I would share some photos of what we use for our fawns for shelters. The fawns love them and are a very affordable option. We have them in our pens that are designated for fawns only and were we bottle feed. Best of Luck with eveyones fawns:)

Could you show me some photos of your deer shelters? I'm especially looking for deer breeders shelters in the Northern area. Thank you so much!

After I decided that horses were a never ending losing battle, I have a couple of these shelters left. If I put a feeder inside these, will deer go inside to feed or are they to confined. I would like to use these if at all possible. Any suggestions?
