Well... I am a newbie to the forum and deer farming.  We are expecting to take delivery of our two (2) doe fawns in the coming weeks and are extremely excited.  While recently working in our pen I have noticed quite a few ticks.  Burning is not really an option as our pen is fairly well wooded...

I have a 2 week old fawn with a tick buried in his shoulder. I know what I do for humans with ticks is dawn dish soap and they will back them selves out. What do I do for fawns medication wise or technique. The dawn didnt work on him. Thanks everyone
