I am looking for some sort of tracking and security for my whitetails inside my high fence. I see the gps collars but would rather have a tag in the ear like EID. EID would be great if I could get 1/2 mile out of it. So a gps tag in the ear with a decent battery life would be optimum. Cost...

Shot a nice buck today, looked to be a tight shot on the vitals, good jump, and stagering. Arrow stuck. I waited a a good 2 hours and there's no blood trail! The blood eventually start pouring/too cold and froze? Heavy frost on.
