trimming

What do you think is the best way? I have a few to do when we test next month and I cant decide how to do it

Is there such a thing as trimming the hooves of a deer? I have one deer with real long hooves.

One of our buck fawns hooves are about 4 inches long and he has some trouble walking on them. We are going to put him down to move him to the buck pen anyway. What i am wondering is what to use to trim them.

I have a buck that has incredably long hooves again, they were long at the end of summer, so when I darted him to switch pens I filed away at them, I spent almost 40 minutes fileing and did not get them down anywhere near where I wanted. Last night I noted his hooves were long again, but...
