urinating

What is the significance of does rubbing and urinating on their tarsal glands this time of year? I was observing them yesterday and noticed several in a matter of minutes doing this, but have not noticed this since breeding. I wondered if it had something to do with pregnancy as our AI due date...

Need advice! Have a week old doe fawn just yesterday noticed when she urinates she dribbles some out her navel! If you've had this happen before please advise me what to do. Do I need to call my vet or is this something I can correct myself! Thanks for any & all help. Love deer forums!
