warts

hello, 4 1/2 year old doe, got two warts one above eye and one on chin about a year ago, now starting to see others on legs...very healthy......two other deer in with her no warts...... vet says knock her out and cut them off........ any thoughts here as to why she has them and what I can do...

I have a 2 yr old white buck that is getting warts like carzy the past few weeks. I do not know what its from nor how to keep.it away? Here are some pictures, kinda gross... But most important what do you guys think? How to.keep them away and get rid of them? Thanks guys
