Harold and his wife Sally tell about the 31 years they have been raising whitetails with five fawns born in 2017 and bottle feeding two of them.
We write about the many trails and tribulations of raising brown , white and albino deer. Raising deer is not as easy as most people think , but there is a lot of satisfaction but also a few heart aches. A couple of noteworthy chapters is about Elizabeth who lived to a record age of 25 which set a record and had a record amount of fawns. Another is about a brown doe with testicles who gives birth to am albino fawn. We try to cover every thing that popped up in the 25 years we owned the deer exhibit called DEER RANCH in Northern Michigan from tail biting to long toenails and some great bucks thru the years. On Amazon Kindle for $9.99 where you can read the first two chapters or buy the book for $14.95 at Deer Whisperer Book for sale by Harold Kriesche

Lymes from tick bite.

I have raised whitetail deer for 31 years and never found a tick on any of the deer. Today may be different. This June I had a tick bite on my arm with a red bite mark and a red ring about the size of a quarter. It put me intoa tired situation all day so I went to the Dr, and he gave me a antibiotic to take for 10 days. Thirty days later they drew blood and sent it in and it came back and I was clear .I never seen the tick but guess it was a black legged one.
