EHD help please

i came here nearly 14 years ago asking for advice on raising a fawn, i was told to put it back.
I have told hundreds of people just that, not to do what i did, well i still have two, the mama doe jojo about 10 days ago was showing heavy signs of EHD, couldnt swallow, face and tounge, eyes swollen, drooling fever etc.
Called a vet thats a friend, they hit her with everything they had (they dont trat deer), within 48 hours of praying, loving and caring for she began to show huge gains toward beating it.
Yesterday day 10 she slipped backwards maybe a little,
Had the vert back out today and they repeated everything they did the first day all but sedation.
La400 Drax banamine and something else i cant remeber. Its been really tought trying to find things to encourage her to eat, shes getting thinner but not bad.
Shes our pet, we spend a lot of time with her everyday.
They are getting me some small pills to slip inside a blueberry to give her twice a day (steroid they said)
Anyone with any suggestions would be appreciated.
