This is not near as bad as Reed's buck fawn toren hide, two people I talked to seem to think this can go untreated as long as no infection sets. I feel the same, any other opinions? She can lick it easily. Thanks Jeff

If you have a chute, drop her and spray would heal on it. She will lick it off but, the medication will get in it.

If no chute, since its winter, just leave it alone, she will be fine.

Dont let he swelling scare you, its normal. In two months you will hardly notice it.

BTW, My buck is doing great, he just shed, and is ready to grow again. I will try to get yall some updated pics. Jay

start the antibiotics ..... any thing long acting ..... Draxxin then if you can then give a low dose in it's feed (tetracycaline) if you do some preventative dosing it should prevent any problems that might slow the healing process and get it all sealed up before fly season
