One Year Later! Cut Leg!

It was last year this day that my dad found the little buck laying by the barn, and would not get up. This buck is now known as "CUT LEG". There was a published story in "DeerTracking", and LOTS of help and advise from all over the country on this buck.You can look back on the "Old Forums" to read the story at...http://www.deer-forums.com/discus/messages/5/26564.html



He is doing fine now. No effects at all that I can see. He is starting his two year old rack this spring, and I will keep yall posted as he grows. Hw is now one of the deer everybody wants to see when they come out now.

Jay that is amazing. When I saw that last year, I thought to myself there is no way that can heal up with out cutting off the leg of that poor guy. I say you did a very good job. Very good husbandry. Jeff
 
Looking good Jay i never thought he would have healed that good .Truly amazing how things can heal with time.
 
OK, Mr. Cut Leg is three now.
